Brain Issues
In July 2013, after some simple partial seizures with olfactory auras, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor (located on my left amygdala) and had it removed with surgery. This is a regularly updated visualization of my medical history related to the brain issues, showing my symptoms, the medicine I use, and the medical tests/operations done.
It functions on three levels for me: (1) as a personal diary revealing correlations to help make medical/lifestyle decisions, (2) as a tool making my communication with my doctors much more efficient, and (3) as a case study to argue for the value of information visualization in clinical medicine.
