Communicating Science: Gráphagos
On July 2nd, we led a variant of our Communicating Science events, this time as part of Sabancı University’s Program for Undergraduate Research seminars. We were joined by many undergrad students from different universities. I talked about the substrate-neutral algorithm of evolution in general, and introduced my evolutionary graphic design program Gráphagos as an instance of it. They played with it, they talked and asked questions about it, and then we asked them to put their understanding of it on paper. The results were a delight and I’m sharing some of my favorites below.
